Strassen will be holding it next biennial street theatre and music festival, the original, eclectic and quality “Stroossefestival”, on Saturday 22 September 2018 from 1500 to 0100.
The all-age Stroossefestival event started in 2002, organised by the municipality of Strassen, and offers a programme of activities for all ages and tastes. Music genres range from pop to Cuban and street theatre acts include clowns, theatre, acrobatics, tightrope walkers and more. Big names such as Pascal Schumacher and Dan Tanson will perform, as well as new discoveries such as the Italian singer Marco Massa and the acrobatics duo Aramelo.
In total, there will be 38 shows presented by 21 artists / groups / companies from 11 countries from all over Europe and even Latin America, performing both indoors and outdoors.
A gourmet village will also serve local and international cuisine for all attendees.
Around 4,000 visitors are expected to attend this festival, according to numbers from recent editions.
The festival is free entry; the detailed programme of the 9th edition will be announced shortly.
